Friday - first meal in apmt - bank ac - belonging

Early morning walk - Eiffel Tower along Seine and back along Blvd de la Tour Maubourg

We had appointment at HSBC to open a bank account this morning. I had some apprehension about the reasons or barriers they would have to opening up an account for a foreigner. This proved unfounded and the account manager was helpful and charming. As the process proceeded and he explained what we could do with the account and the charges etc, I got this wonderful feeling of belonging.
We purchased some salad and antipasti and took it home to the apartment for lunch. - our first meal (other than petit déjeuner) in the apartment. Tres bon.
