Wednesday Hairplay

Today is a big day; we're having our first French hair cut. Well Kwan is. I had mine last week. The salon has a very smart address in the 1st.- rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Carita - La Maison de Beaute - the sign says. I leave her there at 10.30 and am told to return in about an hour.

We celebrate the smart hair with a fashionable lunch at Carré des Feuillants (2 Michelin star). We've discovered that the otherwise outrageously expensive restaurants often have a reasonably priced set menu at lunch time. The meal lived up to expectations; food and service are all excellent.
