Jeudi in the Marais

We set out to explore the Marais today, covering many streets we missed on the Sunday some weeks earlier when we were here. Walk through the Hotel de Sully and Place des Vosges. Rue des Rosiers, the center of the Jewish quarter is very interesting and the food outlets (falafel) look like we should definitely come back for a meal.
We lunch at Benoit not far from the Centre Pompidou in rue St Martin. The food is very nice but surrounded by Americans - must have read the same travel guide.
Apres dejeuner we explore more of the area between Rivoli and the Seine.
